New computer but LOST ALL MY IMAGES on the old one!!!!

Hi everyone! This is a sad day for me and a happy one. First my monitor died. My son was kind and gave me a new flat screen. Just love it.  Since my computer was so old he also purchased a new one for me. And then my computer died before I transferred my data!! All my pictures and images are gone. Now it is time to figure out all the new things on my computer. I am so grateful for a kind and generous son. Thank you so much for my new monitor and computer!
